Rich Rustic Viking Boots

I found these rich leather boots in the window of a tiny shop in Wales. There they were, looking warmly rustic with romantically old fashioned styling details. The proprietor was a friendly man with a bubbly personality and a great penchant for telling local tales- we stayed much longer than planned listening to engaging stories, indeed how Tom Jones lived nearby and liked to get his shoes at this very same shop. We left with two pairs and barely made it to sound check. The next night I wore them to an out of the way sweet little restaurant and my husband and I had the best homemade meal with a candle and a flower on the table. I felt like a Viking in my handmade boots. The photos make the leather look a bit darker than it really is...it has more chestnut tones.
