Short Brown Lace Up Boots

Very high end, these beautifully crafted boots are made of the best saddle leather- proof, it creaks when you move your feet. You don’t hear anything when you’re walking of course, but if you sit down and flex your foot, it makes a pleasing little creaking sound just like a wonderful old leather saddle.
Once, sitting around in the studio with Alan Gorrie, bass player and one of the lead singers for The Average White Band, someone said “What’s that noise?” I looked down at my feet and noticed that I was absentmindedly flexing my shoe and enjoying the wonderful sound it made.
I haven’t worn them for a few years so I won’t promise that they are still musical shoes, but they used to be. Purchased years ago at a fancy department store, this was their top of the line footwear. Fantastic with pants (just add a blond suede shirt jacket for the ultimate rich look), with riding gear, or even for the country girl look with tights and a dress. Incredibly comfortable.
